Tournament of Champions - Season 10

What a great season for the league!  We once again, had a record number of unique players - 128!  So much fun poker! I appreciate all of you for coming out and joining us.

We have played the last regular seson game as of last night. Congrats to Matt Patterson for taking it down.  Now we play the Tournament of Champions for all the bragging rights for the year and a little plaque to put up on the wall for proof!                                                                

Congratulations to  Mike Podwinski for earning the top slot on the leaderboard!  There was a a little fight over first place between Mike and Greg Drake.  Congratulations to all the players that made it to the top 10 slots on the leaderboard.  As mentioned at the beginning of the season we are going to be using the prize money held back from each game and use it to recognize those players.  The $1450 dollar prize pool will be distributed among the players this year along with some swag!

If you have played any three(3) regular season games you are eligible to play in the Tournament of Champions and play for the title. Your points earned throughout the season will determine your stack size.  The base chip stack is 10k and each point earned gets you 200 bonus chips - rounded up to the nearest 500!!

The buy-in for the T.O.C is $100.  You will also be able to buy the WSOP add-on for bonus chips.

Tournament structure follows the Big Game structure with 24 minute rounds.  With the chip counts the game usually ends around 8:30.  Top 6 players will be paid and the winner gets a plaque (eventually, Usually before the start of next years TOC!) and bragging rights for the year.

 It's really important that you RSVP early, both so you have a seat and so we can get set up.  I suspect we will have a big turnout again this year as we have 83 of you eligible to play, so I need to know what to expect. So please look for the announcement text and answer right away.

Lunch is included and so plan on coming early to get some eats and get bought in.

The Big Game WSOP Challenge is on for Saturday, May 31, 2025!

As in previous years the structure for this game is set so that all the $20 add-ons purchased during the season at regular season games (and a few off season games) determines the chip stack.
